Products

Rovilus’ battery thermal management systems are designed to resolve overheating issues to enhance safety, lifetime and performance of the batteries. Rovilus has also engineered a proprietary material that could be added into any battery pack to regulate heat. 

For a complete electric solution, Rovilus’ standard battery module (with built-in thermal management system) offers a “five-minute easy installation” feature without compromising on safety or performance. 

Rovilus’ power pack and thermal management solutions cater to a wider range of customer applications, ranging from construction and material handling vehicles, recreational and urban mobility applications, commercial fleets, and stationary storage systems. Rovilus’ high-performing products enable the applications to work efficiently under extreme climates or operating conditions.

 

Proprietary Thermal Management Solution

Lithium-ion batteries are widely used in electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage systems due to their high energy density and long cycle life. As the performance and lifetime of lithium-ion batteries are very sensitive to temperature, it is important to maintain the proper temperature range and regulate heat that may be generated by the battery cells during normal operation.

Rovilus’ proprietary thermal management system addresses this problem by regulating cell temperature increase that would cause degradation, reduction in lifetime, safety issues and potential thermal runaway. 

 

Second-Life Application

Rovilus’ thermal material has been incorporated into second-life application and shown tremendous benefit in stabilizing the battery’s performance, provide safety benefit and extends the lifetime and usage of the second-life battery to cover more challenging operating conditions.
