EVE is committed to driving development through technological innovation，with approximately 230,000m2 of research institutes and a team with over 5,500 international and interdisciplinary comprehensive R&D researchers. We has established 6 research departments and 5 research institutes, covering a comprehensive battery R&D platform from lithium batteries, lithium-ion batteries, power batteries, module, equipment materials to mobile energy technology, etc.. Meanwhile, we have applied for over 7,900 patents and established in-depth cooperation with Wuhan University, StoreDot and other institutions of higher learning and research on new materials, pre-research technology and so on.
Headquartered in Huizhou, EVE has 14 production plants in Huizhou (Guangdong), Jingmen and Wuhan (Hubei), Longquanyi and Jianyang(Chengdu Sichuan), Yuxi and Qujing (Yunnan), Qidong and Yancheng (Jiangsu), Ningbo (Zhejiang), Shenyang (Liaoning), Hungary ,Malaysia and USA. And we have 5 R&D centers in Huizhou, Jingmen, Wuhan, Shanghai and Chengdu. Currently, we have formed a global sales and marketing network.
EVE′s consumer batteries include primary lithium batteries, small lithium-ion batteries, and cylindrical batteries, serving global leading industrial and consumer brands. They are widely used in smart meters, automotive electronics, smart security, smart healthcare, electronic atomizers, smart wearables, power tools, light electric vehicle , vacuum cleaners, portable energy storage, etc. The sales and export volume of primary lithium batteries have ranked first in China for 8 consecutive years since 2016. In 2023, the shipment volume of cylindrical batteries ranked among the top 4 globally and ranked first in China
Power batteries include large cylindrical batteries, prismatic LFP batteries, prismatic NCM batteries, pouch NCM batteries, BMS and battery system, which are widely used in passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and construction machinery. EVE has entered the supply chain of international first-class automotive companies and provides bulk supply to customers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Jaguar, and Land Rover.EVE has also established strategic cooperation with domestic new startups in the automotive industry. The growth rate of installed capacity of power batteries ranked first globally in 2023. In the first quarter of 2024, the commercial vehicle installed capacity ranks Top 2 in global.
ESS batteries include large LFP batteries, prismatic LFP batteries, cylindrical LFP batteries, and have a full range of product solutions from cells, packs to systems and BMS, which have been widely usedin the global market of utility ESS, commercial and industrial ESS, residential ESS, telecom ESS and marine power.
EVE has established cooperation with global power and energy companies. In China, we have participated in the construction of the State Grid and China Southern Power Grid's smart grid, collaborated with Linyang Energy to establish an ESS battery project; Overseas, we have signed strategic cooperation agreements with POWIN, Wärtsilä, and ABS. In 2023, global shipments of energy storage batteries ranked among the Top 3.
EVE insists to the concept of sustainable development and is committed to creating greener and more energy efficient products and solutions. We have been awarded as "National Green Factory". In 2024, EVE announced the “3040” carbon neutrality strategic goal and released the CREATE carbon neutrality action plan, committing to achieve operational carbon neutrality in 2030 and core value chain carbon neutrality in 2040. In the future, EVE will continue to take the "dual-carbon" goal as the lead ,explore technological innovation, energy management, and make outstanding contributions to sustainable development.
