VDE Renewables Asia

There is no question that global warming poses a serious threat to our environment and inadvertently to all living things on this earth. Combating climate change continues to be top of the agenda in every government policy and international organizations. Renewable energy as an alternate solution to carbon-based technologies is therefore a step in the right direction in order to respond to this pressing call. There are many positives in the implementation of renewable energy across the various industries and fields. To name a few – it acts as an equalizer to balance the over reliance of carbon-based technologies, hence reducing local pollution and increasing sustainable use of our natural resources and reserves. In some cases, renewable energy could even be cheaper than conventional energy with wise design and thoughtful execution.

At VDE Renewables Asia, we believe that the adoption of smart technologies and green solutions is fast becoming a game changer in the energy scene and BESS is poised to become the next big thing in the years to come.

There is an ongoing mandate from the various governments around the world to electrify the various transportation modes - land, air and sea. Norway is leading this charge. In addition, the market for second life battery usage is slowly taking shape and in demand. In some markets, we observed that BESS has become a mandatory requirement in wind and solar power plants in order to stabilize the grid. And, the list goes on.

VDE Renewables Asia is not simply any testing & certification service provider. We consult for businesses that are looking for that bespoke go-to-market strategy, to increase bankability and insurability. We assess and inspect – by acting as independent / owner engineers – your projects. For manufacturers and importers, we provide factory- and pre-shipment inspections to ensure your products are at the same high quality level you designed them for.

We at VDE Renewables Asia help businesses to go green with quality!

Regentech Pte Ltd

Regentech Pte Ltd is a private research and development organisation. We mainly engage with deep tech that will contribute to improving our environment, and energy storage is one core platform we strive to excel in. Our research reaches across various building blocks of the energy storage system. In essence, we hope to provide the industry with performing-enhancing materials and solutions. Being a proactive organisation, we delved into the battery industry exploring on cathodes, anodes and current collector materials for Li-ion battery. We are currently involved as a Co-Principal Investigator in the 2019 Energy Programme Joint Grant Call with the Energy Market Authority (EMA). This 3-year project aims to develop a Next Generation Li-ion Hybrid Battery System for Smart ESS with collaboration with the Korean Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP). Regentech is moving ahead steadily towards material development and commercialisation for various energy storage technologies.
